When shopping for an engagement ring, you want a ring that is as beautiful and individual as the love of your life. Your one-and-only should have a one-of-a-kind engagement ring, and Hyde Park Jewelers expert team of designers and jewelers are dedicated to creating exactly what you're looking for.

Whether going through the process together, or going it alone, designing a unique engagement ring is an experience that should be enjoyable, heartfelt, and memorable. Here is what to expect when you make the decision to create your own custom engagement ring.

• Call to schedule an appointment with a member of Hyde Park's Design Team. Try to bring as many pictures, examples and ideas as you can of your likes and dislikes. Don't worry if you don't have pictures, you can also browse the store cases to accomplish this task. If possible, try to attain the correct ring size.
• The designer will use an autoCAD software program to develop a 3-D model of your ring, which will then be sent to a machine that will develop a wax mold of the ring.
• Once you approve the wax model, your ring will go into the casting stage, where the metal will be formed according to the mold.
• Upon completion of the casting, the jewelers will go to work cleaning and polishing the metal and finally, setting the diamonds.
