In 2000, Hyde Park Jewelers founded the Diamonds in the Rough Celebrity Golf Tournament, an annual event held benefiting YouthBiz, a non-profit organization that assists inner-city youth and The Kempe Center for the prevention and treatment of child abuse. National and local celebrities, current and former professional athletes, and top business and community leaders turned out for this year's Diamonds in the Rough Classic, held at the Cherry Creek Country Club in Denver. Guests enjoyed a dinner the proceeding evening at Del Fisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse, where former Denver Bronco and NFL All-Star Haven Moses was presented with the Humanitarian of the Year Award.
